WormBase will ask authors to specify the types of data in their papers using a simple “author first-pass form” that will be e-mailed. Your timely participation in this effort will help prioritize your paper for curation.
New WormMart interface now available
WormBase is pleased to introduce a new interface to WormMart, the data mining tool at WormBase. WormMart is developed as a collaboration between EBI and the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
New genetic map available for testing
WormBase is testing a new Genetic Map dispay that uses the same interface as the Genome Browser. Please let us know of any problems you encounter or additional features you would like to see added.

Introducing “WormBase Virtual Machines” – software packages that make it easy to run WormBase locally on your desktop or laptop. Browse WormBase when you are offline, integrate your private data into the resource, data mine the underlying databases, or provide a mirror site for your lab or university. Beta test of new BLAST/BLAT page
We are now testing a new BLAST/BLAT page. This page offers a number of enhancements over our previous BLAST interface including inline display of the genomic environs, a karyotype overview showing the location of all hits in the genome, and a simplified interface.
