The new Gene Ontology browser makes it easy to identify every gene that has been associated with a particular
function. See RNA
polymerase II transcription factor for a useful example.
CDS views on the Genome browser
The genome browser now has a CDS viewer that makes it easier to see the effect of alternative splices on the
resulting protein. We have also added forward and reverse 3-frame translation tracks.
Genome Browser now shows similarity
The genome browser now shows similarity hits on non-C. elegans nematode sequences. Here
is an example.
WormBase announcement mailing list now availale
Sign up for the wormbase-announce mailing list to receive
e-mail announcements whenever a new release of WormBase appears.
Generation of inline images, visualization of your annotations
WormBase can now generate inline genome images for use in your web pages. You can even superimpose your own
annotations on top of the image. See the gbrowse_img
page for details.
