WormBook is reviving the Worm Breeder’s Gazette in electronic form. The Worm Breeder’s Gazette is an informal, non-refereed publication for facilitating the exchange of information among nematode researchers. We are currently soliciting contributions (due Nov. 15) for our first issue, to be published Dec. 10, 2009. The latest archival release of WormBase — WS205 — is now available at ws205.wormbase.org. We encourage users conducting long-term analyses to use and cite these archival releases in publication.

Revived WormBase mirror site at Caltech
We are pleased to introduce a new and improved WormBase mirror site at Caltech. Over the last few weeks, we provisioned a new server and developed a streamlined mirroring procedure. We hope this will enable us to keep this mirror site both up-to-date and running smoothly.
