Upcoming Service Interruption: August 26, 2005
Due to scheduled maintenance and performance upgrade, WormBase will be unavailable starting at 5 PM EDT (UTC
-4). We hope to have service restored by 9 PM. Should you require access during this period, consult our list
of mirrors at the bottom of this page or use the development site.
Service to the site was restored at 6:45 PM EDT but intermittent outtages may persist until domain name server
entries have propagated across the globe.
We apologize for any inconvenience this interruption may have caused.
C. briggsae genetics initiative
A group of labs with an interest in C. briggsae genetics is
seeking input on an initiative to expand the genetic mapping tools
available in this species. This effort will culminate with a grant
proposal for the October 1, 2004 NIH deadline. Researchers whose
current or planned research would benefit from such tools are
encouraged to contact Eric Haag ([email protected]).
Variations now available through WormMart
Variations, including alleles and SNPs, are now available for downloading en masse via the WormMart.
