New release of WormBase: WS164
WormBase has been updated to the WS164 release of the database. New in this release is the first set of mass spectrometry peptides from Michael Hengartner’s laboratory. About 7500 genes genes are confirmed by one or more peptides. These peptides are currently displayed on the Genome Browser and will be available through WormMart shortly.
September Additions to WormBook
This month, WormBook has been pleased to add: “Oscheius tipulae” and “C. elegans network biology: a beginning” to the Genetics and genomics section of WormBook, and “Transcription mechanisms” to the Molecular biology section. New release of WormBase: WS163
WormBase has been updated to the WS163 release of the database. This release introduces several new datasets displayed on the Genome Browser. These include TEC-RED (Trans-spliced Exon Coupled RNA End Determination) tags and data from two independent
microRNA binding site prediction algorithms, PicTar and miRanda.
