due to the new WormBase web interface (preview it on Beta WormBase) scaling dynamically with demand and location of requests, dedicated permanent mirror sites will become obsolete as soon as the new infrastructure is deployed.
As part of this, wormbase.sanger.ac.uk will be retired on the 25th November 2011.
A live WormBase helpdesk will be present at the International C.elegans Meeting 2011 during the poster sessions. This is your opportunity to get hold of our curators, web team, text miners and data wranglers in person and ask them about anything.

The modENCODE Data Coordination Center is starting a series of monthly webinars conducted via WebEx teleconference services starting Feb 3rd 2011. The webinars are designed to provide a better understanding of the data generated by the modENCODE project and facilitate further analyses.
